1.1) How long will we be contacted after submitting the form ? --> Our designers will do their best to keep in touch with you within the same week. If you did not receive any notifications, feel free to contact us at +65 87789133

1.2) I’m not sure on certain details of my new home. Is your designer able to identify the unforeseen issues in my home? --> Our designers will be able to identify specific factors that affect renovation with their experience and support structure. Before starting renovation, our designer will identify all key factors and potential risk.

(2) First Consultation

2.1) My floor plan is not accurately drawn to scale. Is that alright? --> Our designers have the tools and knowledge to work on your floor plan. You can send your floor plan to them and they will adjust accordingly.

2.2) I have not received my floor plan yet. Is that alright? --> Our designers can walk through with you on your request even before the floor plan. Having the floor plan will make the planning enhanced and smoother.

2.3) What should I bring to my first consultation? --> You can come as you are, there is no requirement of documents but if you have any photos of your soon to be renovated home will be a great help to the designer’s planning

2.4) Can I get a direct quotation immediately without consultation? --> For certain renovations which are minor and provided with images, our designers might be able to assist. However, we strongly encourage you to plan an appointment with our designers as we would like to service you through proper house planning with no missing details.

(2.5) How long does it take the designer to come out with the quotation for the second appointment? --> Depending on the scale of the renovation, we estimate about 1 week to 2 weeks to ensure that we give a comprehensive quote to our clients. Our designers will let you know in detail how long it takes.

(3) Second Consultation

(3.1) Are there any in-house loans or renovation loans? --> We do have loan systems with our company where we work with in-house bankers to arrange loans for you. However, loans are subjected to approval and credit debt balances in households.

(3.2) Is the quotation comprehensive and final? No extra or hidden cost? --> Our designers will do our best to ensure transparency in the quotations. They are trained to provide services for customers with comprehensive quotations as much as possible.

(3.3) What are the payment plans? --> We are able to accept bank transfers (paynow) and cheque deposits. We are also in partnership with bankers to assist with renovation loans

(3.4) Can I pay by instalment? --> The bank will pay upfront should the loan be approved, instalments will be made to the bank monthly for a period of 36-60months.

(4) Design Planning and Concept Decision

(4.1) I’m not very familiar with what type of concept I want. Is that okay? --> Our designers are more than willing to support you in identifying what you like in a house. They have experience with different concepts and would be able to provide suggestions to aid you in your preferences

(4.2) Do I need to go down to the tile shop/toilet accessories shop to select what I want? --> Designers will arrange with you to visit these places to shop for your stuff. However, if you feel that the designers are able to assist you in choosing the right stuff for you, it is mandatory to personally visit the shops.

(4.3) If there is something new that I would like to implement into the project, but the quotation has been paid, is it allowed? --> If there is a new item that requires to be added into the quotation (e.g an island concept; tall unit; custom carpentry), our designers will issue a variation order to topup the difference and it will be part of the project now.

(4.4) How long does this entire process of designing take? --> In good estimation, a design process should take about 1-2 weeks to solidify the foundation of the project.

(4.5) Is it okay to make some changes midway into the project in terms of design? --> During the design phase, all ideas and concepts in terms of house colour, carpentry laminates and finishings can be adjusted before initialisation of the works.

(5) Work Scheduling

(5.1) Can I bring my friend who is a contractor into the project? --> You are allowed to choose your partners for renovation. However, we strongly advise to stick to our partners due to the consistency in workflow and familiarity with work structure.

(5.2) Why are certain works not included in the quotation? --> Most commonly electrical works won’t be inclusive in quotation as they have to come down to the site meeting to discuss with clients on the wiring of the house, inclusive of number of power points and lighting points. The cost of the electrical works are best left to the electrician themselves as it is a wide range. As for others, mainly because clients can have the choices to select their preferences.

(5.3) Is the work schedule fixed and confirmed when it’s been presented to us? --> Work scheduling creates the optimal flow of events during the renovation period. However, there might be unforeseen events that might affect the sequence of work events (e.g covid-19 quarantines of workers; damaged items; undiscovered issues). Our designers will adjust and fit the project schedule to ensure smooth flow of events. Therefore, work scheduling is not finalised 100%

(6) Start Renovation

(6.1) How regularly will I be updated on my house’s current situation and condition? --> Our designers should keep close contact with you and inform you on every work done in the house. There will be a chat group created (WhatsApp/Telegram) to upload pictures of completed work during this renovation period

(6.2) How long does a renovation period take? --> Depending on the scale of the project, a full renovation for standard BTO or Resale HDB should take about 8-12 weeks. However, this is only an estimation as some houses require more or less work.

(6.3) The items provided are not up to standard, how will we fix it? --> Depending on the severity of the condition, if the item provided was full of defects, flaws, or poor quality, our designers will highlight the issue to management to determine the situation. In the event that the items provided are reasonably good, changes will only be made on a case to case basis.

(6.4) There are new damages that incur losses to me. Should I pay for those? --> If the damage is done during our project period, our company will rectify the situation at our expense. However if it’s due to a reasonable cause that was unforeseen not by our cause. Clients might have to rectify with the cost.

(6.5) During the defect check processes, there are numerous problems on a particular item despite rectifying multiple times. How do we continue with the handover? --> In the case where a particular defect cannot be resolved, the company will decide on the solution to resolve this, within reasonable cause.

(6.6) When does my warranty start, if any? --> When signing under a package that has warranty inclusive. The start date will be on the certification of completion date. However, the warranty does not include wear and tear over time. It’s only for workmanship not done properly or damage of items under poor workmanship and finishings.

(6.7) Can I order my off-shelf items to the house during the project? --> You can arrange with your designer on the best time to deliver your items. Due to the current work in progress, off-shelf items are mostly recommended to deliver at the later stages of the renovation period.
